OpenBao Operator is maintained by KubeBao, an independent open-source project. It is not an official OpenBao project.
The repository and new artifacts use KubeBao coordinates. Releases published before the transfer, including 0.5.1 and earlier, retain their dc-tec image and chart locations and original signing identities. The Kubernetes API remains openbao.org/v1alpha1. The API-group migration will have a separate release and migration guide.
The operator handbook documents the 0.5.x contract. This section records future direction and design work that is not part of that release.
